Well, it all begins today. We are agreeing with God to take away at least one distraction from our lives and spend more time focusing on Him. I decided to remove TV and have since edited this commitment to only watching one hour of TV per day. I plan to spend the time I normally use to watch TV to read, pray, walk, and talk with my family. Like you, I want to hear the voice of God and set a direction for this next year.

I'm so thankful for Sue's leadership in this. It's been a while since Cornerstone was really challenged to DO something, and this is an important first step. I am certain that God will use this opportunity to lead us, and I'm excited to find out exactly how.

As an addition...both Brian and I are removing distrations individually, but we have also decided to remove some as a family so our boys can participate as well...for us, it's not spending the money to eat out, but to eat at home as a family...and no computer games or Wii games during the week for the boys. Just a way to include the kids as well.
